This lecture for Roger Grice’s Introduction to HCI class at RPI, Spring 2014, features a humorous video of a son having his father test out the new Windows 8 operating system. It is a great introduction to what not to do during user testing.

This lecture was for Roger Grice’s Introduction to HCI class at RPI, Spring 2014, and it covers the importance of a diverse range of users to test new designs. Without including a wide range of ages, genders, and races in testing, products will not respond to various phenotypes.
